自己更加倾向于AE，因为HWE对技术很高很全面，自问还没有达到那样的水平 但是为了d

11.12，第一次穿上正装，来到黄龙酒店1号楼805房间
interviewer是昨晚做presentation的AE，清华大学汽车电子专业毕业的
“不好意思，我来早了”
“没关系，正好，我们拜访客户的时候一般都是提前5分钟的”
一些寒暄之后，面试开始，首先是英语面，open question
(1) A brief self-introduction in English
(2) What‘s your career planing? medium-term and long-term target
接着他看到我有LabVIEW的编程经验，问了我一个 “LabVIEW中的Chart控件和Graph控件
有什么主要区别？” -_-!我在我开发的每个LabVIEW程序里都用到了这两个控件 但是我
从来没想过他们的区别，结果这个问题没答出来 “没关系的，其实他们的区别：Chart
是实时记录，而Graph是事后记录的。 这个问题可能很多用了很久LabVIEW的工程师都不
会注意”
“你参加过电子设计奖赛，能不能画出一个低通滤波器的原理图？” 我画了一个运方的
二阶LPF和一个最简单的RC LPF “好，就这个RC LPF，能不能画出Bode图” no
problem，我画出来了
“噢？你参加过话剧表演？能不能现在重演一下你当时的戏？” 晕，这是我在大二的电
气工程节上“Julia and Romeo”里话剧的神父角色 台词只有几句，但是全忘了。。。
。。。 “没关系的，你记得多少表演多少” 我只好硬着头皮，那了本Diary当道具，站
起来随便说了几句
“你在UTStarcom实习的时候用过FPGA？现在能不能用英文给我介绍一下FPGA？” 我想
了一分钟，然后开始说 “FPGA is the abbreviation for Field Programmable Gate
Array......”
“你再给我介绍一下IGBT，用中文就可以了” 这个我最熟了，于是“......”
“你有没有考虑继续留在你实习的GE工作？” “老实说，我的实习期结束后，GE医疗无
锡的GM和我聊很久，希望我留在 所实习的部门，因为部门正好要发展，需要开发方面的
电子工程师。我表示 感谢，但是没有马上答应，因为我觉得我更加喜欢NI，同时更加希
望用我 知识和能力直接地去服务客户，所以我投了NI，投了AE”
“好，你的表现不错，如果有进一步的消息的话，我会马上通知你的”
总的来说，我对自己的表现也比较满意，除了那个LabVIEW的问题回答不出来
回来之后，我接到了Hardware Engineer的笔试通知，时间是第二天下午。

接到笔试通知后，赶快浏览了数电、模电、DSP、Verilog等几本书 11.12，我的第一次P
aper Test献给了NI
(1)Difference between Analog Oscillograph and Digital Oscillograph. How
many kinds of sample method for Digital Oscillograph and what are they?
(2)What is "IP Core"? Have you use "IP Core" in you projet? Give one or
two examples.
(3)Design a "voting machine". Draw the schematic and write the code in
Verilog/VHDL.
(4)Two D Flip-Flop Transfer the data from clock domain a (aclk) to clock
domain b (bclk) The rate of data is more slower than the frequency of aclk
and bclk What‘s the problem of the circuit? How to improve?
(5)What is difference between "PCI Express" and "PCI"?
(6)Give a example that you worked out your way to help others solve a
specifc problem. Write it down in English with at least 150 words.
除了第3题，其他题目我都不sure正确， 所以最后一道题我写了很详细，大概300个单词
，把我在GE实习的一段经历写了出来
当天晚上，我接到了HWE的一面通知
11.13上午9:30，我第二次穿上正装，来到教三428 面试官是一位HWE，PhD mm 互相认识
了之后，开始面试，首先是Oral English Self-introduction.
Tell something about NI.
What is the difference between working in a company and in college?
What would you do, if other teammates do not accept your opinion?
What would you do, if another teammate propose a totally opposite opinion?
What do you do for your spare time?
基本上都是我准备的open q里面的， 最后一题回答得最爽，呵呵，把bodybuilding，jo
gging，basketball全部说了一通
然后是让我描述自己所做过的项目
我首先挑了我在电子设计竞赛时的项目——数字语音录制与回放系统 因为我觉得这个系
统包括了信号放大、滤波、A/D转换、分析处理、D/A输出、显示键盘 正好match NI 的
产品线：“Acquire->Analyze->Present”
接着我又说了UTStarcom里的WiMAX项目 因为我在这个项目里负责了电源、时钟、FPGA、
JTAG的硬件原理设计 可能都是NI的硬件产品中经常碰到的单元 结果果然如此，PhD mm
抓主了一个细节问题
“设计时钟时需要注意什么问题？”
“时钟不能直接分差，要加时钟Buffer”
“还有呢？”
“PCB布线时不能拐直角；最好部在电源层和地层之间； 到各个器件的距离最好差不多
”
“我指得是原理设计时的问题”
“......” 我停住了，然后PhD mm用笔尖指了一下时钟线的始端
“要加始端串联匹配电阻！” “恩，那具体阻值是多少呢？”
“我记得应该是33Ohm” “很好，为什么是33Ohm？”
“为了阻抗匹配，防止反射，因为传输线的阻抗一般是50Ohm......”
“那为什么不是50Ohm呢？”
“......” 这下我真的没折了
“好吧，我告诉你吧，因为一般时钟buffer的输出电阻是20Ohm 这个问题其实我在进入N
I前也不知道，也是后来才知道的” 我当时捏了一把汗-_-!
后来PhD mm又让我画了一个简单的同相放大电路
然后是我的提问时间 我问了一下HWE现在的员工数和他们在中国开发的主要产品
“好吧，如果有消息，我们会在两个星期内通知你的，再见” “再见！”
第二天，11.14，我接到NI AE的终面通知 11.23，我在Bain接到NI HWE的终面通知

从我接到AE二面通知开始，一直到二面，差不多两个星期 这两个星期是我最忙的两个星
期，准备PPT，温习基础知识 期间又花了大概5天时间准备Bain的Case Interview
在从杭州－》梅陇的火车上，我掐着秒表练习了10多次我的 presentation，因为只有5
分钟时间，所以要非常熟练 而且这个是给interviewer的第一印象 "You don‘t have
a second chance to make your first impression!" 所以我非常重视，意志周围的人
以为我是脑袋秀逗了......
11.25，晚上10:30，入住NI对面的天翔酒店 和一起去面的另外一位浙大mm交流了一下心
得 其实我当时的压力蛮大的，因为Bain肯定要被被bs了 NI HWE太难了，GE CTC就更不
用说了 NI AE是我最想要的offer...... Whatever，早点睡吧，这样才能保持明天的状
态
早上7:00起床，读了一遍以前准备的几个英文Open q 又练习了一次5分钟的英文present
ation，4:59! perfect!
和浙大mm一起到了NI，他们还没上班， 等了一会，6个candidate都到起了， 两个交大
，一个复旦，一个北大，两个浙大，只有一个女生
首先是NI China Sales Manager，KC给我们介绍NI和AE 他是新加坡人，在NI工作差不多
10年，精通英语、普通话、粤语、闽南语！ 身体语言非常丰富，非常humourous的一个
人 最后我们问他presentation用中文还是English “Whatever u like! 你们可以用Eng
lish、普通话、粤语、闽南语” 笑倒一片 :P
我是第三个做presentation的，17张PPT：
1． Good Morning, everyone! My name is Chen Zheming, one of the candidates
for the Application Engineer position of National Instrument. It’s my
pleasure to be here to present myself. The title of my presentation is
"Road to Achieving Excellence". OK, let’s begin the road with when I was
born......
2． I was born at Aug, 22, 1980, in Guangzhou. My parents dedicate their
love, encourage and support to me all along my life. I love them forever!
3． I got my Bachelor Degree of Electrical Engineering and Automation in
Zhejiang University at the summer of 2003. I never forget the prime time
we 33 brothers and sisters spent together. At the same time, I was
recommended for admission to graduate school of Zhejiang University
4． I will get my Master Degree of Electrical Engineering in about four
months.
5． As the R&D intern, I worked in UTStarcom for four months. I joint the
WiMax team. One of my major tasks is to build and sustain relationship
with worldwide device’s venders, in order to insure the necessary parts
and technical support for the project.
6． Also I was responsible for the schematic design of the FPGA, the
power, the clock, and the JTAG modules of the Media Interface Card of
WiMax.
7． Through the internship experience of UTStarcom, I improved my
quick-learning ability, problem-solving ability, my working efficiency, my
interpersonal skills, and foremost, the team-work spirit.
8． The story continues. As the engineer intern, I worked in GE Medical
Systems for three months. I joint the Ultrasonic Probe department. You
see, the gentleman in blue is my leader, who is generous and enterprising
and fosters study around our team. I have learnt a lot from him, as well as
my buddies.
9． I was in charge of the Automatic Measurement System for the Ultrasonic
Probe. This is the high-level structure of the system. It consists of the
PC-end LabVIEW based software, the Auto-measurement sub-board, which is
primarily composed of embedded microcontroller & analog switch and
connected with PC via RS-232, and the meter, which is connected with PC
via GPIB.
10． These are some screenshot of the Labview-based PC-end software; you
can see the Main Setup Window, the Meter Display Window, and the Report
Window.
11． Through the internship in GE, I improved my creativity, my global
consciousness, my leadership skills, my flexibility, and foremost, my
quick response to changing requirements.
12． And this is my graduate thesis project – the 110kW SRD for
underground mining conveyor. I was the project manager and chief
architecture; the man is one of my team-members.
13． I participated in the Electronic Design Contest. Our three guys, as a
team, stood up for three days and nights and we won the first price
eventually
14． I joint the ZJU Robot team for the 2nd CCTV Robocon Contest.
15． I joint the Zhejiang University Golf & Business Club, which I regard
as the platform of improving my interpersonal skills.
16． I am the member of our college basketball team. And our team won the
championship of university.
17． Finally, I would like to use one word to summarize my presentation. I
am “LabVIEW”! I own considerable leadership skills. I am active and
positive at my job. I have a solid technical background and 3-year’s
experience for Labview programming. I am versatile and fully prepared to
pick up new knowledge as required. I am impressive and confident in my
personal impact. I am energetic and passionate, whenever and wherever. And
foremost, I have a strong willpower for achieving excellence! Now,I have
prepared for continuing the Road to Achieving Excellence in NI!

我的第一面是KC和另外一位做了10个月的AE，刘gg，全中文 首先是刘gg提问 “为什么
同时申请了两个职位？” “因为我想进NI，同时申请两个职位也许可以double我进入NI
的机会 另一方面，我能进入NI HWE的中终面，也肯定我的技术背景” “为什么这么想
进NI？” “因为我从2.5年前用LabVIEW开始，就觉得NI的产品非常innovative 可以大
大的简化engineer的Test、Design和Control方面的设计” “如果” “你能说说LabVIE
W编程和C＋＋编程的主要区别么？” “LabVIEW是Graphical Programming，C＋＋是tex
t-based” “我指的是内在的区别，不是编程形式的区别” “利用LabVIEW，可以非常
方便地实现程序并行运行，而C＋＋稍微麻烦一点” “如果要用C＋＋实现并行，怎么实
现？” “可能要用到信号量、互锁之类的技术吧？” “有没有更简单的方法？” “so
rry，这个不是很清楚了，因为我的项目很多都是硬件相关的”
然后是KC，他画了一个三极管共射极放大电路 让我解释其中几个电容电阻的作用，画出
输出曲线图、交直流等效电路 我很快画出来了
接着KC问我如果以后派我到广州cover一个区的市场销售，我愿不愿意 “我愿意”
然后我问了KC一个问题，NI Technical Sales的典型工作流程是怎么样的？ KC非常耐心
的解释了一遍 然后就over了
中午一起吃过饭之后，面试继续
我的第二个interviewee是June，这轮是最刺激的 June在美国长大，英文说得比中文好
，是负责Technical Marketing的 第一个问题还是和上一轮一样，Why NI? Why
apply for two positions at the same time? 我又重复了一遍上一轮的回答 “如果AE
和HWE都要你，你倾向于哪一个？” “AE！” “Why？” “因为我想用我的能力和技术
更加直接地服务客户” 然后她让我介绍在GE做过的项目 我在纸上比划着跟她说了一遍
，然后最刺激的部分来了 "Well, I would like to test your oral English, can
you answer my following question in English?" "OK" "You know, some
companies, like GE, still like to use manual test methord,rather than the
auto test methord. What do you think of this challenge? Do you feel
frustrated?" Oh my god! 这个问题就算让我用粤语回答，也答不好啊！ 我想了大概几
分钟 把Case Interview里的Emerging/Growth market timing，promotion methord 都
用上了 然后说我会use my personal experience of LabVIEW to convince them to
switch to auto measurement system. 接着她问了我两个技术问题 “用op-amp搭一个g
ain=10的放大电路” easy job，我画了同相的/反相的，关系式写出来， 又解释了一下
怎么根据输入阻抗和输出阻抗的要求选择放大电路 “用计数器测量频率” easy job，
我一把“测周法和测频法”说出来，她就说All right了
然后她说“如果AE培训以后有Technical Sales和Technical Marketing 两个方向，你选
择哪个？” “我想我会选择Technical Marketing，因为Marketing更加锻炼一个人的
分析能力和大局观” “为什么不选Technical Sales呢？” 这时我注意到June的脸色有
点变化了，我马上解释说 “当然，不可能一下子就能做好Marketing的，要有Sales的经
验，这样才 能了解客户的需求，所以必须从Sales做起”
“OK，我的问题问完了，你还有什么问题么？” “不好意思，刚才用英语回答问题的se
ction我有点紧张，答得不好” “没关系的，我知道这个问题本来就很tough，我只是想
看看你的 分析问题的思路和能力” “Thank you!”
这是我到目前为止最刺激，最精彩的一次face-to-face interview

第三轮，是华东区的Sales Manager Eric
首先让我描述了一下电子设计奖赛的项目 easy job
然后又是Why NI? Why apply for two positions at the same time? If both give
you the offer, which do you choose? 我再一次重复
接着是English Interview "If you are assigned to another region for field
sale or field marketing, which region do you prefer?" "I prefer the
challenge ones" "You have excellent grade in college, which course do you
think is the most useful? Why?" "I think they should be the course with
basic knowledge Coz once I have that knowledge foundation, I can pick up
new knowledge as required"
“好的，我的问题问完了，你还有什么问题？” “我现在最关心的是什么时候可以发of
fer:)” “这个我不能决定的，不过根据我的经验，我们会第一时间处理 面试结果，一
个星期以内可以发offer” “Thank you！”
走出面试房间的时候，我看了一下表，Eric只用了10分钟面我 我想：在Eric之前，要么
就是他们已经决定要我了，要么就是我已经被bs了
两个小时之后，我在酒店休息是，刘gg给我电话，说他们决定给我Offer了 我和刘gg说
，下星期一的HWE终面我就放弃了
5分钟以后，和我一起去的浙大mm也拿到Offer了

通过与NI的几次“交锋”，使我更加了解NI，也更加喜欢NI NI给我最大的感觉就是，技
术含量高 无论是NI的产品，还是NI的Sales,Marketing,Engineer NI的人也很nice 达到
了自己的目标，我的这次NI之旅也划上了一个完美的句号，几点体会：
1.自我定位准确，确定了几个主要目标，就多花时间准备，其他自己 觉得就算得到offe
r 也不会去的公司，就不要浪费时间投简历、听宣讲了。为了准备NI， 我放弃了ABB和
施奈德
2.认真准备简历，简历真的很重要，目标公司看重什么，就在简历最 显眼的地方突出什
么
3.了解公司背景。NI是一个非常看重技术的公司，我写在简历里的每 一个项目，我都
重新review了一遍，结果在面试的时候几乎都被问道。我把数电、模 电、数字信号处理
、 控制理论、C＋＋等书都浏览了一遍，事实证明: it paid off.
4.第一印象。第一印象真的很重要，所以我非常重视5分钟的present ation。 另外我知
道AE是要经常主持NI的Seminar的，所以interviewer会考察 candidate 的present能力,
这就是presentation的作用。我花了很多精力准备PP T，用了很多图片，就是想尽量 地
做到attractive。还有，因为presentation是面对所有interviewe r和candidate做得，
你如果做得好得话，也许会给其他candidate无形得压力。
这次AE发了4个offer，两个给了浙大
祝愿接下来要去面HWE和DSP的两位ZJU EE的XD也如愿得到offer！

除了第3题，其他题目我都不sure正确， 所以最后一道题我写了很详细，大概300个单词
，把我在GE实习的一段经历写了出来
当天晚上，我接到了HWE的一面通知
11.13上午9:30，我第二次穿上正装，来到教三428 面试官是一位HWE，PhD mm 互相认识
了之后，开始面试，首先是Oral English Self-introduction.
Tell something about NI.
What is the difference between working in a company and in college?
What would you do, if other teammates do not accept your opinion?
What would you do, if another teammate propose a totally opposite opinion?
What do you do for your spare time?
基本上都是我准备的open q里面的， 最后一题回答得最爽，呵呵，把bodybuilding，jo
gging，basketball全部说了一通
然后是让我描述自己所做过的项目
我首先挑了我在电子设计竞赛时的项目——数字语音录制与回放系统 因为我觉得这个系
统包括了信号放大、滤波、A/D转换、分析处理、D/A输出、显示键盘 正好match NI 的
产品线：“Acquire->Analyze->Present”
接着我又说了UTStarcom里的WiMAX项目 因为我在这个项目里负责了电源、时钟、FPGA、
JTAG的硬件原理设计 可能都是NI的硬件产品中经常碰到的单元 结果果然如此，PhD mm
抓主了一个细节问题
“设计时钟时需要注意什么问题？”
“时钟不能直接分差，要加时钟Buffer”
“还有呢？”
“PCB布线时不能拐直角；最好部在电源层和地层之间； 到各个器件的距离最好差不多
”
“我指得是原理设计时的问题”
“......” 我停住了，然后PhD mm用笔尖指了一下时钟线的始端
“要加始端串联匹配电阻！” “恩，那具体阻值是多少呢？”
“我记得应该是33Ohm” “很好，为什么是33Ohm？”
“为了阻抗匹配，防止反射，因为传输线的阻抗一般是50Ohm......”
“那为什么不是50Ohm呢？”
“......” 这下我真的没折了
“好吧，我告诉你吧，因为一般时钟buffer的输出电阻是20Ohm 这个问题其实我在进入N
I前也不知道，也是后来才知道的” 我当时捏了一把汗-_-!
后来PhD mm又让我画了一个简单的同相放大电路
然后是我的提问时间 我问了一下HWE现在的员工数和他们在中国开发的主要产品
“好吧，如果有消息，我们会在两个星期内通知你的，再见” “再见！”
第二天，11.14，我接到NI AE的终面通知 11.23，我在Bain接到NI HWE的终面通知

从我接到AE二面通知开始，一直到二面，差不多两个星期 这两个星期是我最忙的两个星
期，准备PPT，温习基础知识 期间又花了大概5天时间准备Bain的Case Interview
在从杭州－》梅陇的火车上，我掐着秒表练习了10多次我的 presentation，因为只有5
分钟时间，所以要非常熟练 而且这个是给interviewer的第一印象 "You don‘t have
a second chance to make your first impression!" 所以我非常重视，意志周围的人
以为我是脑袋秀逗了......
11.25，晚上10:30，入住NI对面的天翔酒店 和一起去面的另外一位浙大mm交流了一下心
得 其实我当时的压力蛮大的，因为Bain肯定要被被bs了 NI HWE太难了，GE CTC就更不
用说了 NI AE是我最想要的offer...... Whatever，早点睡吧，这样才能保持明天的状
态
早上7:00起床，读了一遍以前准备的几个英文Open q 又练习了一次5分钟的英文present
ation，4:59! perfect!
和浙大mm一起到了NI，他们还没上班， 等了一会，6个candidate都到起了， 两个交大
，一个复旦，一个北大，两个浙大，只有一个女生
首先是NI China Sales Manager，KC给我们介绍NI和AE 他是新加坡人，在NI工作差不多
10年，精通英语、普通话、粤语、闽南语！ 身体语言非常丰富，非常humourous的一个
人 最后我们问他presentation用中文还是English “Whatever u like! 你们可以用Eng
lish、普通话、粤语、闽南语” 笑倒一片 :P
我是第三个做presentation的，17张PPT：
1． Good Morning, everyone! My name is Chen Zheming, one of the candidates
for the Application Engineer position of National Instrument. It’s my
pleasure to be here to present myself. The title of my presentation is
"Road to Achieving Excellence". OK, let’s begin the road with when I was
born......
2． I was born at Aug, 22, 1980, in Guangzhou. My parents dedicate their
love, encourage and support to me all along my life. I love them forever!
3． I got my Bachelor Degree of Electrical Engineering and Automation in
Zhejiang University at the summer of 2003. I never forget the prime time
we 33 brothers and sisters spent together. At the same time, I was
recommended for admission to graduate school of Zhejiang University
4． I will get my Master Degree of Electrical Engineering in about four
months.
5． As the R&D intern, I worked in UTStarcom for four months. I joint the
WiMax team. One of my major tasks is to build and sustain relationship
with worldwide device’s venders, in order to insure the necessary parts
and technical support for the project.
6． Also I was responsible for the schematic design of the FPGA, the
power, the clock, and the JTAG modules of the Media Interface Card of
WiMax.
7． Through the internship experience of UTStarcom, I improved my
quick-learning ability, problem-solving ability, my working efficiency, my
interpersonal skills, and foremost, the team-work spirit.
8． The story continues. As the engineer intern, I worked in GE Medical
Systems for three months. I joint the Ultrasonic Probe department. You
see, the gentleman in blue is my leader, who is generous and enterprising
and fosters study around our team. I have learnt a lot from him, as well as
my buddies.
9． I was in charge of the Automatic Measurement System for the Ultrasonic
Probe. This is the high-level structure of the system. It consists of the
PC-end LabVIEW based software, the Auto-measurement sub-board, which is
primarily composed of embedded microcontroller & analog switch and
connected with PC via RS-232, and the meter, which is connected with PC
via GPIB.
10． These are some screenshot of the Labview-based PC-end software; you
can see the Main Setup Window, the Meter Display Window, and the Report
Window.
11． Through the internship in GE, I improved my creativity, my global
consciousness, my leadership skills, my flexibility, and foremost, my
quick response to changing requirements.
12． And this is my graduate thesis project – the 110kW SRD for
underground mining conveyor. I was the project manager and chief
architecture; the man is one of my team-members.
13． I participated in the Electronic Design Contest. Our three guys, as a
team, stood up for three days and nights and we won the first price
eventually
14． I joint the ZJU Robot team for the 2nd CCTV Robocon Contest.
15． I joint the Zhejiang University Golf & Business Club, which I regard
as the platform of improving my interpersonal skills.
16． I am the member of our college basketball team. And our team won the
championship of university.
17． Finally, I would like to use one word to summarize my presentation. I
am “LabVIEW”! I own considerable leadership skills. I am active and
positive at my job. I have a solid technical background and 3-year’s
experience for Labview programming. I am versatile and fully prepared to
pick up new knowledge as required. I am impressive and confident in my
personal impact. I am energetic and passionate, whenever and wherever. And
foremost, I have a strong willpower for achieving excellence! Now,I have
prepared for continuing the Road to Achieving Excellence in NI!

接下来是三轮的face-to-face interview

我的第一面是KC和另外一位做了10个月的AE，刘gg，全中文 首先是刘gg提问 “为什么
同时申请了两个职位？” “因为我想进NI，同时申请两个职位也许可以double我进入NI
的机会 另一方面，我能进入NI HWE的中终面，也肯定我的技术背景” “为什么这么想
进NI？” “因为我从2.5年前用LabVIEW开始，就觉得NI的产品非常innovative 可以大
大的简化engineer的Test、Design和Control方面的设计” “如果” “你能说说LabVIE
W编程和C＋＋编程的主要区别么？” “LabVIEW是Graphical Programming，C＋＋是tex
t-based” “我指的是内在的区别，不是编程形式的区别” “利用LabVIEW，可以非常
方便地实现程序并行运行，而C＋＋稍微麻烦一点” “如果要用C＋＋实现并行，怎么实
现？” “可能要用到信号量、互锁之类的技术吧？” “有没有更简单的方法？” “so
rry，这个不是很清楚了，因为我的项目很多都是硬件相关的”
然后是KC，他画了一个三极管共射极放大电路 让我解释其中几个电容电阻的作用，画出
输出曲线图、交直流等效电路 我很快画出来了
接着KC问我如果以后派我到广州cover一个区的市场销售，我愿不愿意 “我愿意”
然后我问了KC一个问题，NI Technical Sales的典型工作流程是怎么样的？ KC非常耐心
的解释了一遍 然后就over了
中午一起吃过饭之后，面试继续
我的第二个interviewee是June，这轮是最刺激的 June在美国长大，英文说得比中文好
，是负责Technical Marketing的 第一个问题还是和上一轮一样，Why NI? Why
apply for two positions at the same time? 我又重复了一遍上一轮的回答 “如果AE
和HWE都要你，你倾向于哪一个？” “AE！” “Why？” “因为我想用我的能力和技术
更加直接地服务客户” 然后她让我介绍在GE做过的项目 我在纸上比划着跟她说了一遍
，然后最刺激的部分来了 "Well, I would like to test your oral English, can
you answer my following question in English?" "OK" "You know, some
companies, like GE, still like to use manual test methord,rather than the
auto test methord. What do you think of this challenge? Do you feel
frustrated?" Oh my god! 这个问题就算让我用粤语回答，也答不好啊！ 我想了大概几
分钟 把Case Interview里的Emerging/Growth market timing，promotion methord 都
用上了 然后说我会use my personal experience of LabVIEW to convince them to
switch to auto measurement system. 接着她问了我两个技术问题 “用op-amp搭一个g
ain=10的放大电路” easy job，我画了同相的/反相的，关系式写出来， 又解释了一下
怎么根据输入阻抗和输出阻抗的要求选择放大电路 “用计数器测量频率” easy job，
我一把“测周法和测频法”说出来，她就说All right了
然后她说“如果AE培训以后有Technical Sales和Technical Marketing 两个方向，你选
择哪个？” “我想我会选择Technical Marketing，因为Marketing更加锻炼一个人的
分析能力和大局观” “为什么不选Technical Sales呢？” 这时我注意到June的脸色有
点变化了，我马上解释说 “当然，不可能一下子就能做好Marketing的，要有Sales的经
验，这样才 能了解客户的需求，所以必须从Sales做起”
“OK，我的问题问完了，你还有什么问题么？” “不好意思，刚才用英语回答问题的se
ction我有点紧张，答得不好” “没关系的，我知道这个问题本来就很tough，我只是想
看看你的 分析问题的思路和能力” “Thank you!”
这是我到目前为止最刺激，最精彩的一次face-to-face interview

第三轮，是华东区的Sales Manager Eric
首先让我描述了一下电子设计奖赛的项目 easy job
然后又是Why NI? Why apply for two positions at the same time? If both give
you the offer, which do you choose? 我再一次重复
接着是English Interview "If you are assigned to another region for field
sale or field marketing, which region do you prefer?" "I prefer the
challenge ones" "You have excellent grade in college, which course do you
think is the most useful? Why?" "I think they should be the course with
basic knowledge Coz once I have that knowledge foundation, I can pick up
new knowledge as required"
“好的，我的问题问完了，你还有什么问题？” “我现在最关心的是什么时候可以发of
fer:)” “这个我不能决定的，不过根据我的经验，我们会第一时间处理 面试结果，一
个星期以内可以发offer” “Thank you！”
走出面试房间的时候，我看了一下表，Eric只用了10分钟面我 我想：在Eric之前，要么
就是他们已经决定要我了，要么就是我已经被bs了
两个小时之后，我在酒店休息是，刘gg给我电话，说他们决定给我Offer了 我和刘gg说
，下星期一的HWE终面我就放弃了
5分钟以后，和我一起去的浙大mm也拿到Offer了

通过与NI的几次“交锋”，使我更加了解NI，也更加喜欢NI NI给我最大的感觉就是，技
术含量高 无论是NI的产品，还是NI的Sales,Marketing,Engineer NI的人也很nice 达到
了自己的目标，我的这次NI之旅也划上了一个完美的句号，几点体会：
1.自我定位准确，确定了几个主要目标，就多花时间准备，其他自己 觉得就算得到offe
r 也不会去的公司，就不要浪费时间投简历、听宣讲了。为了准备NI， 我放弃了ABB和
施奈德
2.认真准备简历，简历真的很重要，目标公司看重什么，就在简历最 显眼的地方突出什
么
3.了解公司背景。NI是一个非常看重技术的公司，我写在简历里的每 一个项目，我都
重新review了一遍，结果在面试的时候几乎都被问道。我把数电、模 电、数字信号处理
、 控制理论、C＋＋等书都浏览了一遍，事实证明: it paid off.
4.第一印象。第一印象真的很重要，所以我非常重视5分钟的present ation。 另外我知
道AE是要经常主持NI的Seminar的，所以interviewer会考察 candidate 的present能力,
这就是presentation的作用。我花了很多精力准备PP T，用了很多图片，就是想尽量 地
做到attractive。还有，因为presentation是面对所有interviewe r和candidate做得，
你如果做得好得话，也许会给其他candidate无形得压力。
这次AE发了4个offer，两个给了浙大
祝愿接下来要去面HWE和DSP的两位ZJU EE的XD也如愿得到offer！
