第2章　
1我兒，你若領受我的言語，存¹記我的命令，
【niv】My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 【nasb】My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you, 2側耳聽智慧，專心求聰明；
【niv】turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, 【nasb】Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; 3呼求明哲，揚聲求聰明；
【niv】and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 【nasb】For if you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding; 4尋找他如尋找²銀子，搜求他如搜求隱藏的珍寶；
【niv】and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 【nasb】If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識　神。
【niv】then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. 【nasb】Then you will discern the fear of the LORD And discover the knowledge of God. 6因為耶和華賜人智³慧。知識和聰明，都由他口而出。
【niv】For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 【nasb】For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7他給正直人存留真智慧；給行為純正的人作⁴盾牌。
【niv】He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 【nasb】He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, 8為要保守公平人的路；護庇⁵虔敬人的道。 【niv】for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. 【nasb】Guarding the paths of justice, And He preserves the way of His godly ones. 1 箴4:21; 7:1

【niv】For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 【nasb】For wisdom will enter your heart And knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; 11謀略必護衛你；聰明必⁶保守你。
【niv】Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. 【nasb】Discretion will guard you, Understanding will watch over you, 12要救你脫離惡道(“惡道”或作“惡人的道”)；脫離說乖謬話的人。
【niv】Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, 【nasb】To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things; 13那等人舍棄正直的路，行走⁷黑暗的道，
【niv】who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, 【nasb】From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness; 14歡喜作⁸惡，⁹喜愛惡人的乖僻。
【niv】who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, 【nasb】Who delight in doing evil And rejoice in the perversity of evil; 15在他們的道中¹⁰彎曲，在他們的路上偏僻。 【niv】whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways. 【nasb】Whose paths are crooked, And who are devious in their ways; 6 箴6:22

【niv】It will save you also from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words, 【nasb】To deliver you from the strange woman, From the adulteress who flatters with her words; 17她離棄幼年的¹³配偶，忘了　神的盟約。
【niv】who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. 【nasb】That leaves the companion of her youth And forgets the covenant of her God; 18她的家陷入死地，她的路偏向¹⁴陰間。
【niv】For her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. 【nasb】For her house sinks down to death And her tracks lead to the dead; 19凡到她那里去的不得轉回，也得不著生命的路。
【niv】None who go to her return or attain the paths of life. 【nasb】None who go to her return again, Nor do they reach the paths of life. 20智慧必使你行善人的道，守義人的路。
【niv】Thus you will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. 【nasb】So you will walk in the way of good men And keep to the paths of the righteous. 21正直人必在世上居住；完全人必在地上存留。
【niv】For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; 【nasb】For the upright will live in the land And the blameless will remain in it; 22惟有惡人必然¹⁵剪除；奸詐的必然¹⁶拔出。 【niv】but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it. 【nasb】But the wicked will be cut off from the land And the treacherous will be uprooted from it.
