What is Family Portrait Month?
In October 2006 you can participate in Family Portrait Month, an opportunity to build profits for your business through a charity-driven promotion that also will elevate your business image. The event is sponsored by PPA Charities for the benefit of Operation Smile, an organization which treats children who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.
Why should you participate?
By participating in this autumn marketing promotion, you will attract new clients into your studio, encourage return business, and help children in need.
How does it work?
Simply sign up to participate at marathonpress.com, and your studio will be listed on familyportraitmonth.com. (Member Login is required. You will be redirected after login) Follow the marketing guidelines in the kit to advertise Family Portrait Month, and book clients for portrait sessions in the month of October, and contribute a minimum of $25 per session to PPA Charities. In 2005, participating studios raised more than $15,000.

PPA Charities’ charitable partner is Operation Smile. Operation Smile provides reconstructive surgery worldwide to needy children and young adults suffering with facial deformities, usually cleft lips and cleft palates. Donations to PPA Charities will benefit Operation Smile.
