一、中国历史上的“十圣”； "Ten Saints"in Chinese history；

1、文圣：孔子，尊为“圣人”The Article Saint:Confucius, is regarded as "Saint"；

2、史圣：司马迁，《史记》作者；History Saint:Sima Qian, the author of《Historical Records 》；

3、医圣：张仲景，著有《伤寒论》《金匮要略》；Cure Saint:Zhang Zhong-jing author of《 On Typhoid 》《Golden Chamber》；

4、武圣：关羽，尊称“关圣”、“关帝”；Military Saint:Guan Yu, respectful name is "Guan Saint", "Guan Emperor"；

5、草圣：张芝，汉朝书法家，擅长草书；Cursive writing Saint:Zhang Zhi, calligraphist in Han Dynasty ,be good at cursive style of writing.

6、书圣：王羲之，东晋书法家，作品《兰亭序》；Sage of calligraph:Wang Xi-zhi,a calligraphist in  Eastern Jin Dynasty, his masterpiece is 《Lanting preface 》；

7、画圣：吴道子，唐朝画家，有“吴带当风”的美誉；Sage of drawing:Wu Daozi,a painter in Tang Dynasty , have the good reputation of "Wu's belt is flying in breeze"；

8、酒圣：杜康，古代传说酿酒的发明者；Wine Saint:Du Kang, it is said he was the contriver of wine acording to ancient fables .

9、茶圣：陆羽，唐朝人，嗜茶著名，著有《茶经》；

Tea Saint:Lu Yu, a man in Tang Dynasty ,be famous for  liking tea , the author of《Tea Scripture 》；

诗圣：杜甫,唐朝著名诗人，著有《杜工部集》.

二、中国皇帝十最：Ten-most of Chinese emperors 

1、最长寿的皇帝：清代乾隆，享年88岁；The most long-lived emperor: Qianlong(Qing Dynasty) was 88 years old；

2、最短命的皇帝：东汉殇帝，不到一岁就夭折；The dieest young emperor:Shang Emperor(Eastern Dynasty ), when he died ,he wasn't 1 year old .

3、即位时年龄最小的皇帝：东汉殇帝，刚过100天；The youngestemperor:Shang Emperor(Eastern Dynasty ),After his ascending the throne for about 100 days.

4、即位时年龄最大的皇帝：武则天，67岁；The oldest emperor while ascending the throne:Wu Ze-tian, 67 years old；

5、在位时间最长的皇帝：Emperor reigning for longest time :清代康熙，在位62年；Kangxi Emperor( Qing Dynasty ) reigned for 62 years；

6、在位时间最短的皇帝：金末完颜承麟，仅仅一天就战死；Emperor Reigning for shortest time.Wanyan Cheng-lin，Emperor(the Jin Dynasty),reigned for one day and only died in battle  after that day；

7、嫔妃最多的皇帝：晋武帝，后宫佳丽10000人；emperor having the largest number of concubines :Jin Wu Emperor( Jin Dynasty), having more than 10000 beautiful concubines in the imperial harem .

8、子女人数最多的皇帝：清代康熙，儿子36人，女儿20人；The  having largest polution of children:Kangxi(Qing Dynasty), 36 sons, 20 daughter；

9、最荒淫的皇帝：隋炀帝，有粉黛3000人；The most dissolute emperor:Yang Emperor(Sui Dynasty), having more than 3000  beautiful imperial concubines.

中国历史上十大奸臣；Ten greatest treacherous ministers in Chinese history;

1、庆父：春秋时期鲁国贵族，鲁庄公的弟弟。他惯于挑拨离间，先后杀了两个国君，后来自缢身亡。成语“庆父不死，鲁难未已”，就源于此。Qing Fu: a nobleman in Lu country  during the Spring and Autumn Period , Lord Zhuang Lu's younger brother.He stopped at nothing to sow discord .He killed two kings  but he was hanged to die afterwards.The idiom "Until Qing Fu is Done away with,

The crisis in the state of Lu will not be over", come from this.

2、赵高：秦朝宦官，原为赵国贵族，他与李斯逼秦始皇长子扶苏自杀，立少子胡亥为二世皇帝。不久又杀死李斯，自任丞相，后又谋害胡亥，立子婴为帝，后被子婴诛杀。Zhao Gao: A Eunuch in Qin Dynasty, he was a nobility in Zhao country  first, he forced Fu Su' Qin Shi huang's eldest son to suicide with Li Si, but Qin Shi huang's youngest son  Hu Hai to be proclaimed the second Emperor of Qin.Soon he  killed  Li Si, the prime minister,and then he took over his post. He also murdered Hu Hai , He proclaimed Zi Ying to be Emperor, at last Zhao Gao was killed by the emperor.

3、梁冀：东汉大臣，两个妹妹分别为顺帝、恒帝皇后，顺帝死后，于梁太后合谋，先后立冲、质、恒三帝，专横朝政20年。他掠夺的财产相当于全国半年租赋。159年，恒帝诛杀粱氏一家，梁冀自杀身亡。Liang Ji:minister of Eastern Han Dynasty, his two younger sisters respectively to be empresses of Shun emperor and Heng an empero , after  Shun emperor died, he plotted togetherwas with the Queen Liang, and successively help Cong ,Zi  and Heng to be the emperors .  He seized the arbitrary domestic affairs for more than 20 years. The property he plundered was equal to half the national  annual rent tax in a year. Heng emperor kill Liang family and  Liang ji had to suicide at last in 159 A.D.

4、董卓：初为琼州豪强，汉灵帝时任州牧，凶残异常。公元189年，率兵入洛阳，毒杀少帝，另拥立献帝，自立太师，“挟天子以令诸侯”，后被王允、吕布杀掉。Dong Zhuo:At  beginning  he was despotic man in  Qiong State, Then he was a zhoumu during  the Han ling Emperor . He was bloodthirsty and  abnormality.In 189 A.D. He led soldiers to go into Luo Yang ,and  poisoned the Shao Emperor to death , and set Xian Emperor up on the throne, then appointed himself as the teacher of the Emperor. He "had the Emperor  in his power and ordered the dukes about in his name".Afterwards he was killed off by Wang Yun and Lyu Bu.

5、来俊臣：唐朝武则天时酷吏，因告密受宠，任中丞，后因得罪武氏诸王和太平公主，被武则天处死。成语“请君入瓮”讲的就是他和右丞周兴之事。Lai Junchen:A torturer in Tang Dynasty is martial weather cool Li, because of telling airtight to receive great favors, appointed as middle assistant officer. He was sentenced to death by Wu ZetTian due to giving offenses to  Wu 's kings and the Peace  Princess.What the idiom"Please step into a jar,sir!" tells the story about him and right assistant officer Zhou Xin.

6、李林甫：唐朝权臣，玄宗时任礼部尚书，唐王政事败坏，终于酿成“安史之乱”。Li Linpu :Powerful minister in Tang Dynasty , As Tang Emperor 's politics corrupts and it finally brought  "Rebellion of An and Shi."

7、秦桧：北宋历任御史中丞等职。靖康二年，被金军掠至北方，不久遣归，充当内奸。他勾结党羽，专横权势，力主投降，以“莫须有”待得罪名杀害岳飞及其子岳云等抗金名将，为后人唾弃。Qin Kuai:He did some important jobs in the north Sung successive holder imperial censor.Two years of Jing Kang, drove by Jin soldiers they were forced to go to north, soon send to return and acted as a traitor.He collaborated with his  party feather, arbitrary power and influence, the dint lord surrenders, with"unnecessary" treat to give offense to kill Yue Fei and his son Yue Yun and some other anti-Jin famous generals. 严嵩：

Strict Song:
