    荔枝：喷酸变鲜  
    化妆手法：由于荔枝的保存时间短，商贩往往会买来色青的半熟甚至是生荔枝，用稀释过的盐酸浸泡，或把稀盐酸喷洒在荔枝表面，未熟的荔枝表皮就会变得红嫩、新鲜。
    识别技巧
    摸：挑选“化妆”荔枝的时候，手会觉得潮热，甚至有烧手的感觉。闻：自然成熟的荔枝闻起来有荔枝本身淡淡的香味，而“化妆”荔枝不仅没有香味，闻起来气味有点酸，甚至还有化学药品的味道。掂：“化妆”荔枝比自然熟的荔枝分量重一些。看：由于鲜荔枝的保存时间短，所以一般需低温冷藏保存，如果看见荔枝被商贩随便放在盒子里，上面用塑料布一盖，大多都是“问题”荔枝。

    香蕉：洒药变黄
    化妆手法：七分熟的香蕉，表面涂上一层含有二氧化硫的催熟剂，一两天时间香蕉全变成了色黄鲜嫩的上品。或在装香蕉的箱子里注入甲醛气体，几天工夫香蕉的表皮就会变黄。
    识别技巧
    看：催熟的香蕉表皮一般不会有香蕉熟透的标志——“梅花点”，因此在挑选香蕉时，有“梅花点”的香蕉相对安全。
    闻：用化学药品催熟的香蕉闻起来有化学药品的味道。 

    橙子：上色变红
    化妆手法：把长有霉斑的橙子清洗干净、晾干，然后用石蜡给橙子打蜡上色。这样，原本长了霉斑、灰头土脸的橙子转眼间变得又红又亮，贴上进口水果的标签，就变成了进口橙子。
    识别技巧
    看：进口橙子表皮的皮孔比较多，摸起来较为粗糙，而假进口橙子表面的皮孔比较少，摸起来相对光滑些。
    擦：假冒的进口橙子用纸擦，纸的颜色会变红，是因为假冒进口橙子在处理的过程中加入了色素。

    西瓜：打针变甜
    化妆手法：给半生不熟的西瓜从瓜蒂处注入色素糖精水，瓜瓤就会被染红，吃起来口感也很甜。
    识别技巧
    拍：打过针的西瓜拍打时声音“哑”、不脆亮。
    看：自然熟的西瓜籽是黑色的，而且很饱满，而打过针的西瓜籽一般小且白。
    尝：虽然打过针的西瓜很甜，但甜味不均匀，往往靠近瓜蒂部位甜度较浓，而远离瓜蒂部位甜度就差得多。
