央视财经频道的重头栏目《第一时间》中的《马斌读报》环节，近两个月已改成了《读报时间》，主持人也改成了《财富故事会》的王凯。有消息称是因为马斌在节目中“爆粗口”，被领导批评暂时不读报了，也有称因为“隐私照”被泄露，马斌被央视开除了。财经频道的一位工作人员透露，8月初马斌向频道申请了病假，他暂停工作并不是因为隐私照，而是在8月6日主持节目时读到一条新闻，某种药物在医院的售价是出厂价的34倍，马斌气得说了一句粗话，因此被领导批评，并且暂停工作。但是当时频道并没有取消《马斌读报》的打算，马斌可能过一段时间就会回来工作。

 

不过，央视某不愿透露姓名的知情人士称，马斌请假之后又由于“隐私照”的泄露掀起了轩然大波，因此他于月前向央视提出提前终止合作关系，“也就是大家理解的‘辞职’，离开了央视的主持岗位。”据悉，马斌的主要工作是中国传媒大学播音主持艺术学院的老师。不过有媒体向中国传媒大学相关人士求证，接电话的老师称：“我们这个学期没有安排马斌的课，我们也有一阵子没见过他了。”据了解，最初在央视“工作”期间，马斌还兼任着传媒大学的老师之职，带了一个本科班和一个专升本的班，后来他忙着去央视主持，课也渐渐少了。

 

11月6日，好久没有音讯的马斌终于让我们找到了他的身影，马斌出现在某公园，已经赋闲的他气色不错，正在指导一名女学生练习播音。看上去，马斌的表情略显严肃，颇有几分严师的味道。
