One night absence

We are always together since we got married even we are doing absolutely different things without any communications in the house whole night.

Sometimes we have our own social activities or work at leisure. It seems we can live alone without each other most of the time.

But I found the difference after his absence yesterday night.

At the beginning, I enjoy my dinner and watch TV.

Then I went to surf on line while waiting him back.

After a while, I feel somebody is knocking at the door, but not him.

It's rainy outside and late. I am wondering what's going on now.

Got drunk? Lost way? Be robbed? Or …?

Time from time, he reported to me and told me no worries and don't wait up.

I went to bed but can not fall asleep even I am tired. Squirmed left and right daydreaming. Until it dawns, I was exhausted.

That's quite an experience. 

Seldom have we been aware of what we have until we are short of it.
