记者从长江三峡通航管理局获悉，10日晚，一艘载有3666吨矿石的货船在三峡北线船闸下游处发生翻覆，11名船员落水，其中6人获救，5人失踪。目前，矿石已全部沉落江底。搜救工作、航道及船闸运行恢复工作正在紧张进行。
10日晚21时35分，由南通开往重庆万州的货船“万港698”上行驶向三峡北线船闸时，碰撞下游导航墙发生翻覆。事故发生后，三峡船闸现场工作人员当即发现险情，及时上报。三峡通航局立即启动突发事件应急预案，全力组织救助失事船舶，并对事故水域实施交通管制。三峡海事人员及时赶到现场，三峡武警消防、公安、120也迅速赶到，积极配合救援工作，迅速救起了6名船员。
目前，其他5名失踪人员尚在继续搜救中，失事船舶正在三峡海巡艇及社会救助船舶的绑缚下拖离航道，事故水域的交通管制将马上撤除，船闸运行即将恢复。事故原因正在进一步调查中。

YICHANG, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) - Five people were missing after a cargo boat capsized when passing a ship lock at the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River in central China's Hubei Province Friday evening, according to local navigation authorities.
The boat loaded with more than 3,600 tonnes of ores capsized at about 9:35 p.m. after it hit a navigation wall. Eleven people fell into the water, and six of them were rescued, said the officials.
The rescuers are searching for the five missing.
